Libby Fields, ACMHC

Therapist

Libby Fields, ACMHC, is a warm and compassionate therapist who creates a safe, supportive space for children and teens to express themselves, heal, and grow. She specializes in child-centered play therapy, sand tray therapy, expressive arts, and attachment-based approaches. Libby has extensive experience working with neurodivergent kids and those facing anxiety, emotional outbursts, or behavior challenges. Her goal is to help each child feel seen, understood, and empowered to find their own strength.

Libby’s approach is gentle and flexible, meeting kids where they are and allowing them to guide the process in a way that feels natural. She integrates a range of tools including TF-CBT, Play Therapy, DBT, and mindfulness to support healing and build lasting coping skills. Drawing from her years as a school psychologist, Libby is especially skilled in supporting children and families navigating IEPs and 504 plans. She understands how to bridge the gap between home, school, and therapy to create a consistent and supportive environment.

Outside the therapy room, Libby loves being out in the mountains from rock climbing, to hiking, or kayaking. She’s also a big fan of the creative process and spends time at her local pottery studio turning lumps of clay into bowls, cups, and plates. Whether it’s through art, nature, or play, Libby believes in the healing power of connection, creativity, and simply being yourself.
